Real build · The Healing Centre
A room full of people, and no way to reach any of them again.
Claire runs a working sanctuary in Larkhall — ganja reiki, kambo, plant medicine, sound healing, bodywork and ceremony, with a café and a team of practitioners around her. Twenty-plus practices under one roof, a perfect 5.0 on Google, and people who genuinely love the place. What was missing wasn't demand. It was everything that turns a good day into a repeat customer: a way to capture the people who visit the website, a reason to stay in touch with them, and something to sell to the ones who can't get to Larkhall.
The starting point
Great business. No machine around it.
Everything good about The Healing Centre happened in the building. A visitor who found the website and wasn't ready to book that day simply left, and there was no way to ever reach them again. Reviews came in when someone happened to think of it. And Claire's most valuable asset — she pioneered ganja reiki and teaches it herself — could only be sold to people within driving distance of Larkhall.
Before
- Website visitors left with nothing exchanged
- No email list, so no way to bring anyone back
- Reviews gathered by hand, when it occurred to someone
- Teaching limited to whoever could physically attend
- Twenty-plus practices with no clear route in for a newcomer
After
- A lead magnet that trades something genuinely useful for an email
- A custom email system driving bookings, retention and reviews
- Review requests that go out automatically, at the right moment
- An online classroom that sells her training anywhere
- Three clear doors in — practice, the centre, community
What we built
A website, and then the machine behind it.
The site came first, and it had to carry a lot: twenty-plus practices, a team, retreats, a café, training and a community — without turning into a menu that overwhelms someone in their first ten seconds.
Multi-page website
Services, team, retreats, the centre, community, training and visit — hand-built, fast, and hers outright.
Brand & identity
Cream, deep green and a serif voice — warm and unhurried, so the site feels the way the room does.
Three ways in
Practice, centre or community. One decision instead of twenty, then the depth underneath.
Lead-magnet funnel
A four-question chakra quiz that emails a five-minute guided practice in Claire's own voice.
Custom email system
Sales, retention and review-gathering, running on her own list rather than a rented platform.
Online classroom
Her ganja reiki training, delivered on her own website, with certificates — sellable anywhere.
The funnel
Give something worth having, and the email address follows.
Most wellbeing sites ask for an email in exchange for a newsletter nobody wants. This one asks four questions, works out which chakra is calling for attention, and emails back a five-minute guided practice recorded in Claire's own voice — theirs to keep, free, in under a minute.
Why this works when a newsletter box doesn't
It gives before it asks, it's personalised so the result feels like it's about them, and — the part that actually matters commercially — the person arrives on the list already having heard Claire's voice. That's a warmer first contact than any welcome email could manufacture, and it's why the sequence that follows converts instead of getting archived.
The email system
Custom-built, on her own list, doing three jobs at once.
Not a newsletter tool with a template dropped in. A system wired into the site and the booking flow, so the right message goes out at the moment it's actually useful.
Sell
The chakra result opens a sequence that introduces the practices, the centre and the training — in her voice, not a marketing one.
Retain
What's on, new retreats and ceremonies going out to people who already know the place, so a first visit becomes a habit.
Gather reviews
A review request that lands after the session, when someone still feels how it went — instead of never.
Own the list
It's her audience on her own infrastructure. No platform between her and the people who love the place.
The review point is worth stopping on.
The Healing Centre is rated 5.0 on Google and every single review is five stars. That's not luck — it's what happens when a genuinely good business finally asks. The reviews were always earned; there just wasn't anything in place to collect them. Automating the ask is one of the cheapest pieces of work we do and one of the highest returning, because it compounds on every future search.
The online classroom
Her teaching, sold to people who will never reach Larkhall.
Claire pioneered ganja reiki and teaches it herself. Until now that meant one room, one group, one day at a time. We built a full online classroom into her own website — lessons, structure, progress and certificates — so Level 1 and Level 2 can be taken from anywhere, or one-to-one with her for the people who want that.
Why it's on her website and not on a course platform
A course platform takes a cut, owns the student relationship, and puts its branding between a teacher and the people learning from her. Building it into the site she already owns means the whole thing stays hers — the students, the emails, the pricing and the margin — and the classroom sits behind the same brand as everything else.
It's also the difference between a business that trades hours for money and one with a product. The room can only hold so many people. The classroom doesn't have that limit.
What changed
What the business can do now that it couldn't before.
- Keep the people who weren't ready yet. A visitor who isn't booking today joins the list instead of disappearing.
- Sell without being in the room. The classroom turns her teaching into something with no geography and no ceiling.
- Turn one visit into several. What's on and new ceremonies go to people who already trust the place.
- Compound the reviews. Every satisfied session now has a path to a public five-star review.
- Own the whole audience. Her list, her site, her classroom — no platform in the middle taking a cut or holding the relationship.
